I am here to support your journey with tools, strategies, and processes to develop the changes you want to see in your life. Together, we will embrace your unique situation and challenges, guiding you towards healing, however you define that for yourself.
If you are starting your journey in distress and confusion about your mental health difficulties, I have over 10 years of a trauma-informed practice to support that process of unpacking an understanding. Together, we'll explore your difficulties with compassion, empowerment, and psychoeducation tailored to your needs. Your story matters, and I am here to ensure it's heard and supported along the way.
If you find yourself deeply self-aware, but are struggling with a sense of feeling stuck despite this awareness, I use Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) as a foundation to support change. I sprinkle in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy skills to round out tools for managing interpersonal distress and emotional regulation. Somatic strategies are then used to support nervous system regulation alongside these cognitive therapies. Finally, to expedite trauma integration for those situations where we’re having some progress, but are struggling to shake negative core beliefs or flashbacks, we can explore the use of EMDR.
